What are the major causes of stress?
Circumstances or events that lead to stress are known as the causes of stress.
Now, what causes stress? Mmm...let me see.
My god, the things that causes stress can go on and on. Basically anything and everything can cause stress, including threat, career change, danger, good/bad news, sickness, and death of a loved one. Remember the example of stress during peak hour driving? that's one of them.
It would be quite useless to provide a full listing of the causes of stress, as stress is relative.
You may not react to the same situation as another person.
Let's say that you enjoy public speaking, when faced with a task of doing a presentation to a group of people, it would be a piece of cake to you. But for someone else who is shy and is uncomfortable speaking to a group, the mere thought of the task at hand would throw his whole system into a 'fight or flight' mode, and stress him to death.
In other words, learn to manage stress and don't let stress take over your life.
