Sleep your way to success with creative visualization

Do you know what is creative visualization?

Ever get caught in a stressful situation, and start imaginig the worst? Well, that is creative visualizaion used in a negative manner!

Creative visualization is the act of playing the outcome of events in your mind or imagination. Many peak performing methods utilise this powerful concept to help their students achieve their goals, and in the process reduce their stress level.

The famous Silva Mind Control method utilises this powerful force as the backbone of their course in creating powerful techniques to help you deal with all problems, from success, happiness and health.

The classic Psycho Cybernetics method also employs creative visualization extensively in their course.

Why does it work?

How we act and what we do is based on a set of beliefs that we have inculcated and cememted based on our life experience. All our experience and the subsequent beliefs are embedded into our subconscious mind.

When we’re little, we take it all in. Because the subconscious mind comes doesn’t filter what’s going in, just so we could learn quickly.

But, at the same time we may also pick up flawed beliefs that we hold on to throughout our lives.

As we get older, however, we begin to block things that seem to run contrary to our experience and beliefs.

This feature of our mind aims to protect us from things perceived as dangerous to us.

This might be where the saying “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” fits in.

To change our behaviour, we need to change the coding in our subconscious, by replacing old beliefs with new and positive ones. We do that with the help of creative visualization.

What we were in the past needn’t affect our future – it is the thoughts and words in the present that are redirecting our path for the days and years to come.

Your Home Movie Theatre

The first thing you need to do, is to enter the 'theatre screen in your mind'.

Imagine yourself watching a movie on a big screen. Try to visualize a blank movie screen.

Try 'seeing' a Red Apple.

Can you 'see it'?

Try to 'see' the details. How big is it? How does the texture of the skin look like?

The more vivid the details the better.

Isn't it interesting how you can 'recall' all this information?

Now change it to a Green Apple.

Did you manage to do that with ease?

I think you did.

You can visualize anything you want, however ridiculous the image may seem.

Unless you can 'see' something happening in your mind, it's unlikely to materialise in reality.

We are very much 'victims' of ourselves.

We cannot achieve anything that is in conflict with our self image.

If you see yourself as unattractive, as a person nobody will ever like, then that's what you'll be.

If you see yourself as 'stupid' because you didn't complete high school and undeserving of success then you are not likely to enjoy success.

But guess what happens when you start to 'see' yourself differently?

Your Subconscious Mind Starts To Work FOR You..

Here's how to use creative visualization to change your life.

Before you go to sleep every night, lie down and relax yourself by taking deep breaths (see breathing exercise ), followed by some relaxation exercise .

Next, play the mental movie of the area in your life that you want to improve. See yourself achieving the end result, of whatever that you want, get into the character, FEEL it in your bones.

Do this consistently, and you can eventually deprogram whatever negatives that are residing in your subconscious, and be on your way to achieving anything that you want.
