Hypnosis stress -

How to literally command yourself to automatically reduce your stress and also enable you to achieve anything you ever want to be!

My first hypnosis stress management experience goes like this...

"Now I want you to clear your mind, as I countdown from ten, you will take a step down the stairs and go deeper into relaxation..10..9..8.." As I felt this tingling sensation in my limps and felt my muscles melt like hot butter, I thought to myself "Hey this is not as scary as I imagine it to be, in fact, it's fun!"

That's my first real experience with hypnosis stress management. Although I had studied and read extensively on hypnosis, nothing is going to prepare me for the face-to-face experience with an actual hypnotist.

So what is hypnosis and how does hypnosis stress management work?

Hypnosis is not about Hocus Pocus!

The first thing I discovered is that hypnosis occurs in a natural state. In fact, it is so natural that you have probably experienced it regularly without even noticing it.

Not convinced?

Have you engaged in some other thoughts while driving, and without realising it you are home the next moment. Everything seem to have gone autopilot.

My friend, what you had experienced is known as a light trance.

So how do you induce that trance like state?

Well, relaxation is the key to prepare you to slip into that trance like state during hyonosis for effective stress relief.

This is when hypnosis can be effectively used for stress management in what I would call hypnosis stress management.

How to activate your command centre

When you are under hypnosis, you are at a state where you have direct access to your subconscious.

For those not familiar with the subconscious, let me explain.

Our mind is split into 2 different sections. The conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The conscious mind is our conscious thought and determines our decisions and actions. The subconscious mind performs actions without any conscious effort on our part, such as keeping our heart pumping, controlling our breathing and keeping our bodily functions in order.

We can only communicate to our conscious mind, and not our subconscious. All thoughts will be filtered by our conscious mind, which will decide on whether to keep or discard. The conscious mind acts as a gatekeeper. This is important as the subconscious does not have the ability to analyse and filter information and will act on all suggestions or ideas that are implanted in them.

Hypnosis will help us to bypass the conscious and reach the subconscious, by putting us in a deeply relaxed state first. Suggestions are then given to the subconscious to assist us in making any change we want.

This is powerful stuff. Can you imagine the exciting world of possibilities hypnosis is able to offer?

Hypnosis stress management methods are both simple and achievable. Here's how to do it.

How Hypnosis can help in stress management

Hypnosis stress management helps us deal with stress in 2 ways, first we are taught to relax to enable us to be hypnotised.

As you are more proficient with relaxation techniques, you will expereince reduced stress.

Secondly, with the help of hypnosis, suggestions which are beneficial for stress management can be planted into our subconscious to help us deal with stress better.

First, practice the relaxation by going to relaxation exercise.

Next, use your prepared suggestions. Suggestion statements describe the goal and the outcome that you desire. All suggestions should be phrased in a positive manner. Be specific. Always write in the present tense, as if you already are. These qualities are similar to what I described for positive affirmatons. Repeat a few times.

Lastly, to come out of the trance, tell yourself "I will count to five, and at the count of five, I will open my eyes, be wide awake feeling great and fine and better than before."
